    Tapping noise from ac

I have an intermittent tapping noise (sounds like a pencil tapping a desk slowly) coming from the dash. It only happens when the ac is on and it sounds like it is coming from behind the dual climate controls. Any advice from the gurus?

Ever notice air coming out the wrong place or temperature that's way off from the setting? Sometimes the little plastic gears in the door actuators strip a tooth and make such noises.

I haven't noticed that, but my AC clicks from one vent when it's on the highest setting only. Doesn't bother me, just notice it sometimes.

There is a TSB to fix that one.
