2000 5.3 tahoe power steering pump

i have a 2000 5.3 tahoe engine in my78 truck trying to work out the power steering lines but the pump i have the line screws in the lower front and when i went to the junk yard to get a line off a wreck all the trucks have the lines going to the back of the pump are there differances in the pumps

Get a truck pump and reservoir, then swap out the large fitting on the pump that the pressure line that attaches to. That way you can use the newer pump without having to buy new hoses.

thats what I did...saved a few bucks reusing old hoses, worked out great.

i see well i needed new hoses anyway so what i did was brought a 2000 tahoe P/S hose and put a 73-87 style end and flare on the tahoe line looks and fits like factory!!!
