    oil in the intake pipes

    I took a few pipes loose to check the MAF and found a few puddles of oil, about the size of a quarter, in the intake piping. WTF?!?!?!?!

    Normal unless there is a performance problem. What kind of breather/vent system do you have?

    no catch can, just the pcv swich valve on the passenger side and check valve on the driver side that STS supplies.

    pull the pipe off back by the turbo and see if there is oil there.

    +1 Sounds like the seals on the turbo could be going....

    the turbo needs to be rebuilt. Probably got to hot. mine did that twice and the pump went out. i hace a trick now so no more oil problems yet.

    If it matters, I did see some oil around the STS switch valve. I saw a little oil around the fuel rail. It led me to believe there might be something wrong with it.
