Exclamation NEW to the site and already have questions!

Hey guys, My name is dustin, from lubbock, Tx. Ive got a 97 Chevy rcsb, 4.3vortec. Lowered 5-7 and just got a 6.0 liter for my swap, out of a 08 Chevy.. Still needing some parts and i have some questions too.

What cam should i install in the 6.0, stall, rearend, all the hp questions. My goal is to put the truck in the 11.00s. i kno that im going to have to make my motor mounts and my headers but that isnt that big of an issue. If anyone has done this swap id love to kno what im up against.
Other than that i cant wait to have the 6.0 transplanted and haulin ass.. Instead of my dinky 4.3.. lol THanks

    about gears...

with a 5/7 drop, i'm assuming you'll be running tires around 29" tall or so. depending on your cam, i'd say 4.10s will be a good place to start.

as for the tranni i havent decided what to run yet.. im not going to put much faith in my 4l60, not even rebuilt beefier.. thought about finding a 4l80 or better.. i did find a vortec supercharger locally today for under 700 and its complete.. as for the rubber, im currently runninng the factory 15's while i save up for new rubber on my 20's, but im thinking of keeping the 20 in the rear and going to an 18..
