    Another question

I know of alot of people that are running 243s milled down on a 5.3... Is it possible for the l92 heads to be milled down and run on a 5.3... would it be a good upgrade? Is a set of 243s just as good?

no, you would have to buy a new intake to go along with that along with many other reasons those heads would suck on a 5.3

no you cant use them cause of the large bore required to run them. the valves are just too large for that motor. also they velocity and flow rate isnt no near supportive of a small cube motor. truck would actually go slower if it was possible

the only way you could run them on a 5.3 which would be about a 5.4 when done is.....................USe a 6.0 block, 4.8 crank and rods and get pistons to match the combo. you would have a 4" bore, short stroke 329. this motor would be like the DZ302 of older days. wouldnt make much torque but would make alot of rpm
