    6L conversion questions

    Hey,
Putting a 6L into a 92' Silverado here in Australia and just need a few bits of information. The sumps you guys run are either the corvette/truck sump which is a rear sump, can you use the sump out of the GTO you get over there?

Also is it possible to get the measurements of your engine mounts so i can make my own here rather than having to get some shipped over.

Im sure there will be more questions to come so if i could get your help that would be great. Not really a common conversion over here.
    Cheers
    Brendan

Any of the Gen-III/IV oil pans should swap over

You making it right-drive too ? That would look crazy.
Gotta feel crazy driving on right side of the truck (the left side) and wrong side of the road, lol

I got a lot of help with the mounts not to long ago. I ended up moving my engine back 1" an up 1/2". so I could use my stock driveshafts.

You're confused sir. I'm holding the measurements hostage until you send me an ACTUAL Holden Monaro.

Anyways, you might ask DINK to get you some measurements. PM him maybe. He has a 6.0 in a 94.

Here are the specs for the normal mount.. I make these with the motor moved back 1'' and up 1/2''. Makes the motor sit nice in the OBS.
