    transmission noise

    when i would be driving the truck i could here a wining noise,that you had to listen to hear it,i thought it mite have been the pump maybe making noise not sure.But it just lost first gear and second is not to strong that would be the sun shel or the sun gear right.Or has anyone had any problems with TCI converters not beening balance right to take yhe pump out
    i have a 2001 chevy did a 4.8 swap to a 6.0l with mahle pistons 10.5:1,eagle 6.125' h beams,232 238@50.595 598 lift on a 112lsa,243 heads,44lbs motec IIs,tuned by Nick D,it makes 402rwhp,@5000lbs w/ me in it 13.75@101mph on 22' wheels

    Im not sure if TCI is the same, but you have to put shims in for yank so thats its 1/8''? away from the flex plate. This is what greg told me. But if its too far it will burn the pump up

    ya when i put it in it was about 1/8" away i got about 23k out of this build but only about 6k out of it with the new converter and motor combo
