I'm from the Detroit area. Just returned from Indy truck bash where I took my first run with my Supercharged 2002 6.0 awd escalade. It was running pretty rich but I still managed a 14.12 @ 103 on 22's . My truck has

    Billet grill
    McGaughys Drop Spindles
    Hotchkis Sway Bars
    BBK 80 MM Throttle Body
    Edelbrock ceramic coated shorty headers
ATI Polished 8 lb procharger (with 3 core intercooler)
    Shaved roof rack
    Shaved wiper on rear hatch
    Carbon Fiber hood
    B&B Catback
    B&M aluminum 4l60e trans pan
    B&M 160 degree 550 cfm Trans radiator w/fan
Tuning was done by Ed wright automotive (highly recomended)

    In the works :

    Suede interior
    Painted dash pieces
    Complete paint job (2 tone)
Fast intake with custom fuel rails and bigger injectors ( so we can get rid of the FMU)

I am looking for anybody who has used a c-5 intake on the 6.0 ls1 truck engine. Seems pretty simple but I am looking for anybody with any experience in it. Will post pictures of my truck soon.

Looking forward to seeing what other people have done.

    Thanks John

Welcome. And where did you find your carbon fiber hood?

I found the carbon fiber hood through VIS racing. The hood is junk actualy. The mold had alot of defects. but as far as I know the only company that makes one is VIS. Thank god I had a great body guy here in detroit who could crack and re-mold the fiber. If you decided to purchase one make sure you remove the stock hood springs and add a hood prop toherwise the hood will start to warp pretty badly.

    Thanks for the reply,
    John

Welcome over! I answered your question about the LS1 style intake. Also there are around 42lbs/hr high imp injectors available that fit the stock truck intake.
