    Motor Mounts & E-Fans?

I have a 85 Silverado and want to know what motor mount adapter plates you guys are using. Also when running the ls1 fans what do you have to have as far as a harness goes to control them with the ecm? I am gonna run a 5.3/4L60E

I used the carshopinc plates off ebay, worked fine.
I am running ls1 fans, but right now they are controlled by a flexalite controller, as soon as I stop being lazy I will wire them up to the pcm with some relays.

Nelson Performance makes a harness for pretty much any fan configuration. I used plates like the ones you mentioned on all my conversions. The Hooker plates look more user friendly, like the bolts would go through the mount without having to pry one out of location to get the bolt through. I always have to use the hoist to twist the 1st mount out of location so that the 2nd bolt can be installed.

You have a link to those mounts by Hooker?

Just an FYI, that harness to run the dual F Body electric fans from Nelson Performance is awesome...very clean looking and is only $99. It has three relays and an AC connect too so you can tie it in correctly with everything.

If nelson does do your harness make sure you tell them where the everything is located. Thats who i went with and everything seems to have turned out good.
