    Exclamation 1995 Two door Tahoe

Well Found this site a few months ago and its inspired me to do a 6.0 swap on my tahoe. My Question is What year 6.0 would be the best for my swap.
It has the BullS*** TBI 350 in it. Was gonna do a lt1 swap but changed my mine. Also if anyone knows a good place to get a complete motor in the Detroit aera That would be helpful also.

    Thanks

For you I would try and get a 02-05 motor but make sure you get a cable driven throttle body, which they stopped using in 02. Best thing to do is get a pull out, take it apart, clean it up, replace gaskets and seals, maybe put in a cam, have the heads cleaned up and slap it in. I have a 03 LQ9 in my 98 rcsb, its a nice little truck with that motor. I would avoid buying a motor over the internet, just because there is a lot of scum out there, and you really wont know what your getting. Just look up any salvage yard in your area, and I am sure you can get a pull out. As for your wiring, don't think twice about it. Give Nelson performance a call, let him know what your doing, and he will build you a custom one. There harnesses are nice, clean, and extremely easy to work with. If you don't have a local tuner, then you might want to look into getting a mail order tune from Nelson as well.

What adapter plates should i get for the motor mounts? I don't wanna have to mess with the drive shaft.

I would try the new Hooker motor mounts. Jegs sells them on their site and on Ebay. I like how they've done them vs. the older style that most of us have used.

Sweet find on the engine! and those motor mounts look really nice! you plan on going with a cam? if so what size its defiantly worth your time putting a cam/stall in now and not have to do it later.

Yeah, those are the ones. Now, I'm not sure that the Schoenfeld headers will work with those but they seem to be a better design and fit for the factory mount locations. The other style usually require you to tweek the mount or slot the xmember to get the main bolt to go through.
