    2007 5.3 Into 1948 Chevy 5 Window Pickup

I have made the side mounts and transmission cross member for the 4L60E. With the engine/transmission bolted in place I had planned on using stock exhaust manifolds, but they dump on top of the frame rails, so I got a set of Camaro center dump exhaust manifolds. Close, but they clear the frame rails.

I am having trouble finding the tail pipe 2 bolt flange and gaskets so I can make the exhaust system from 2 1/2 aluminized exhaust tubing.

Does any one know where I can get these flanges and gaskets?

You can always cut the flange off and replace with the standard 3-bolt flange?

Like from the y-pipe? Got a picture?

And did you mean close but DON'T clear the frame rails for the Camaro manifolds?

I was referring to the flange at the manifold. On my last build, I used shorty headers on my LS1. When I had the exhaust built, they did not have the perticulay flange on hand. So I opted to cut it off and weld on a more common flange. I will see if I can dig up some pics..........

    Camaro Exhaust Manifold

The center dump Camaro manifolds are close to the frame rails but there is enough room for the exhaust pipe with having to trim the frame.

The Camaro exhaust manifolds are cast iron, not that easy to cut and weld.

The exhaust manifolds have outlets for 2 bolt tail pipe flange. The two bolt flange that bolts the tail pipe to the exhaust manifold is what I am looking for.

I am going to run true dual exhaust with no cat convertors.
