    Speedo and gauges ?

    I have a '64 C10 with a 2003 5.3 and 4l60e.I want to use the '03 speedo and gauges.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the wires from the cluster to where-ever it is they go?
If I remember correctly there are 2 orange,a black with white stripe, and 4 twisted pairs.
    Any help would be appricaited.

There are wires going to all different parts of the truck. The IPC on a 2003 is a Class 2 device that requires other Class 2 devices to be online and connected for it to operate properly.

    I understand that.
I have the complete harness,I only want to keep what I need for the cluster to work.

    Ok,I'm back.
Got it hooked up finally and speedo, tach, and all gauges work except for the volt meter and I haven't verified the fuel gage yet.
I didn't use the BCM so I have a few warning lights(diodes) to contend with.
I don't know if I have to connect something else to make the volt meter work or if the servo motor is bad.
Does anyone know how to check them?

how did you get it to work

tell us how you made it work! i want to know
1985 Silverado LQ4/4l80e Turbonetics Single Turbo, 60lbs injectors, air to water intercooler, PST driveshaft, ARP head & rod fasteners, Custom cam, HP Tuners, PLX wideband, DUAL tanks still work!

I'll give you the easy version.

    I connected the ipc harness wires as follows;

pin A1 mil to pin g on c100
    pin A4 vss to pin d c100
    pin A5 tach to pin k c100
    pin A6 class 2 to pin h c100
pin A8 rt turn sig to right turn signal in harness
pin A11 panel light to panel light in harness
    pin A12 ground to ground
pin B1 left turn sig to left turn signal in harness
pin B9 ign voltage to ign voltage
pin B11 bat voltage to bat voltage
    pin B12 ground to ground

That's how I did it,however I do have a few warning lights(abs, airbag, brake, etc.) to get around yet.
The odometer(with correct milage for the engine),shifter display, and even the cruise lights up when its on.
I have it installed in the dash temporarily til I figure out how I want it to look.
I'll try to post a pic this weekend.
I'm going to replace the stepper motors for the gas and volt gauges when I get the chance to make sure they are ok.

That's awesome dude, glad to see someone else has the same idea I do. I was just gonna find a donor truck and pull the motor, tranny, ecm, bcm, gauge, the whole shibang out of it and hook it up in my truck.

Here's a pic with the cruise on at 55mph.

Now if I can just turn off the warning leds.

A buddy of mine just put a 00' model 5.3 in his 82 short wide. he used the whole harness out of the other truck. turned out pretty nice he even used the door latch mechanism out of the 00' truck so his key fob works as well. also his stereo stays on until the driverside door is opened just like in the 00' truck. He even cut the 00' model door panels and molded them into his 82 panels and used the factory window switches and mirror switches. all he has to do now is find out how to make his dash work or build him a dash so the factory instrument cluster looks good setting in there.
2007 NBS silverado, DJM 4"-6" drop, Magnaflow muffler, Volant cold air, Richmond 4.10 gears, SLP underdrive pulley, Diablosport P.O.S. tuner. TURBO SOON TO COME!
