Door handles?

Since my truck was broken into and the pass. door handle destroyed, its in need of a replacement.
I can find factory replacements that have been sanded and color matched, but there is only one problem.
My truck is an '01 with key holes in both driver and pass side.
I want the handles from an 04-07 with a key hole only on the driver side.
Will the later model handles bolt in? With mods?

Ive heard of people using the crew cab handles with no key holes, but personally I just don't think that's a great idea.
I would at least like to have one key hole.
If the piece of $#!t wants in bad enough, he'll get in. A handle is cheaper than a window.

Shave the door handles and put poppers in there so they don't tear your stuff up, only break a window out to get in. Maybe they'll cut an artery on the broken glass and bleed to death or get an infection.

The handles come by themselves from the dealer. Buy the proper driver handle and get a newer model passenger handle. Have someone local paint them to match.

Shaved handles look sick anyways. And here you really dont have to worry about poppers not working cuz of cold....if they are strong enough and done right...my buddy had someone break into his s-10 befor he shaved the handles...now no more break in's

yeah thats the reason i went with shaved doors... i figured if you dont have handles to break through you can break in quietly....
