    Now my sensors won't work

Is there a specific ground or power wire I'm missing? According to a scanner, none of the engine sensors (O2s, MAF, MAP, IAC) work. I'm ready to push this truck off a cliff. I watched the MAF and thought it was working, friend with the scanner says it isn't, it shows a frequency but not when the truck is in the run position but not started yet. O2s read about 60-80 rather than varying from 100-800. IAC in HP tuners always says "IAC not ready"

In the Z? The Gen3 engines have two grounds. On the truck they are bolted to the top of the engine, behind the intake manifold. On all the Fbody engines I've worked on they have been on the back of the driver side head. Check that they are hooked up, tight and you have no broken wires or terminals. Check all fuses first.

Agreed. Some of those sensors are 12V and some are 5V. Don't worry about MAF readings engine off key on. I'd also ignore the "IAC not ready" deal.

I'm sorry, 98 chevy with a 5.3 swapped in. With all of my questions I figured everyone would know already

I basically took the stock 5.3 harness, gave power to pinks and oranges, and ground to black.

mine has 3 grounds. 2 grounds on top behind intake and 1 that goes down under engine (comes off wiring to crank, oil level, etc) On mine its located at front drivers side of the engine.

Do they come out of the harness, or are they ground strap form the engine to frame etc?

I found 1 that came out of the harness with the tranny wiring and that was it

They come out of the harness plus one ground strap from the engine to the body or frame.
