Got a decent deal at work today...

50' of basically new air hose.

    Campbell Hausfeld 1/2" impact

Campbell Hausfeld 3/8" ratchet (long one)

    Craftsman 3/8" ratchet (short one)

    Campbell Hausfeld 3/8" drill

    Continental Industries grinder

    Grand total: $55.00

Now all I need is an air compressor...

Anyway, too good of a deal to pass up.

You'll be most dissatisfied with the impact. Probably won't remove lug nuts. The two air ratchets are not top notch but are very nice to have. I've never used a 3/8" drive compact air ratchet but I do have 3-5 of the 1/4 drive version of that Craftsman (use a Mac now). The grinder, drill, and air hose will probably last forever unless you beat stuff up. Overall it was a giant bargain for the haul. Good catch!

You might check the home improvement stores for specials 'cause they unload compressors at clearance prices from time to time.

You find a good deal on a compressor, let me know too please. Great snag Moze. Did you have to wait a month after you gave him the $55?

Did you recheck the installation with a quality torque wrench to be sure? If so, it's that much more of a bargain! I think my new Makita 18V LiIon electric cordless impact has more power than one of those Chicago Pneumatic type impacts but mine is old and does not even stay in my box. What a great deal it would be if it had 100 ft/lbs!

Even if you have to break the lugs with a wrench you got a bad azz deal. I dont use my impacts just for lugnuts.. As far as putting the wheels back on they should always be finished off with a torque wrench. The other tools, and the airhose is worth what you paid. Nice Snag my man!

You can always find good deals in good pawnshops. Make sure the shop is a member of the National Pawn Brokers Organization. All of my tools and jewelry came from da Pawn Shop, Even my snap-on aircompressor.
99RCSB Broke because I wasted thousands and thousands of dollars on my truck.
