Can anyone recommend some good but inexpensive conversion plates. I already have the engine mounts and the brackets to fit my frame. I just need the plates to bolt to the 5.3 block.

Someone listed quite a few variations of the engine mounts today, check today's posts. You can make them yourself but for $50 I don't think it would be worth my time to make a set myself. You can buy them on Ebay, search LS1 engine adapter

I found some for 50 bux and I thought the same thing, for me to leave my shop, buy some plate, lay out the design, cut the plate, drill the holes, chamfer the couple of holes needed. Heck for fifty it is not worth my time. I just didn't know if some are better than others.
Thanks I found them on ebay. I am going to order a couple of sets tomorrow for the two trucks I am doing. I really appreciate all of the help guys. I have been stressing about this part of my builds for a while now. My frame is blasted, painted, c-notched, and crossmember pancaked, trailing arm crossmember piped to run exhaust through, waiting to install air ride and motor and trans.
