On nelson wiring harness the wire labels "chmsl supply voltage/stop lamp supply voltage" what does this go to? I'm assuming it something to hookup for the cruise.

1996 GMC extended cab, 2003 5.3/auto
CHMSL = the stop light at the back top of the cab
LSX conversions, so easy a caveman can do it.
I thought it was for the torque converter clutch, wire is powered with key on but no power when the brake pedal is pushed.

There are two main outputs from the switch. It's one of the two mentioned above.
You're kidding.
Wow.
At least my NP fan harness fit like it should....mostly.
Once again, I might suck at this conversion stuff (for many reasons) but I might be able to help if I knew what you were working on.

BRAKE 10A circuit 440 goes from the switch to the PCM (for cruise and TCC) as well as EBCM and clutch start switch (if equipped). CHMSL circuits 17 and 1620 connect the CHMSL lamp and the stop lamp switch to the flasher module (because the CHMSL does not flash with signals or have to light up dimly for park lights like the LH and RH lamps). STOP circuit 1320 connects the flasher to the rear lamps.
None of that probably helps.
