I ordered a 160* thermostat for my 03 5.3 and of course its the wrong one. Looks as though the thermostat and housing are 1. I've noticed that hypertech sells a 160 t-stat and housing for the ls1. Will this bolt onto the 5.3 ok?

Yes, it will work. I believe hypertech and the SLP stat are the same. Texas Speed has them for $47.99
