    Tuning Needed for swap?

I had originally planned to just purchase EFI-Live right when I did my swap. However, wanting to do some other projects as well as made me think that maybe I could wait awhile on that.

what tuning is needed for the swap in an OBS? Is EFIlive necessary to get everything running right? Or is it something I could have a tuner do easily? My thinking was just that if I was going to spend a few hundred on a tune, i might as well just spend $750 to begin with and have the software to myself.

Very easy, just delete the vats and DTC's not needed from component removal. I'd recommend the S/W anyday. I have HPTuners but I'd buy EFILive next time due to the differences in S/W. I like the PID arrangement for trouble shooting in the EFILive scanner.
