    New guy from Kansas

Hi my name is Jon and I am an alcoholic... Oh, wait, wrong place. Sorry guys. Anyways, I am a current owner of a 99 4x4 Silverado, 5.3L. I am here to find info and parts. So far, I am impressed. Hopefully, somewhere along the way you guys will be able to help out in my quest to build the perfect trcuk.

Thanks for the welcome. The truck is a ECSB. Pretty much bone stock. I have added a K&N filter and and Optima Battery. Also, have Sat radio and Trailer Brake controller. Mostly just little things to make it more driveable. I have a few things in mind but it is my DD so i dont want to undertake anything that will hamper that. I am looking into the 4L80E swap though as I have already replaced the tranny and am thinking it will be time to do again before long. I was also thinking about a solid front axle. BTW, I currently live in Houston but am from Kansas and will be moving back there in November.
