Trans was acting up, and wouldn't lockup or shift in to 4th. When I exit the highway the truck wouldn't go into first. Wen't out Sunday morning and the trans shifted fine. I hate to say it but I thinkI am going to have to get another @#$%^& converter! Looks like I am going to go with the yank like I should have in the first place.

turns out the shift solinoid had some type of material blocking it so it wouldn't shift. Probably some clutch material. The fluid is still red and doesn't smell burnt. I am going to have the trans back flused and see what comes out.

You still should have got the yank! I hope your trans holds together. You may have to go easy on it for a while. Good luck.
