Not a truck, but still a LSx swap

(2-10-08) Hey guys, great site you've got going here!
My name's Tanner and I currently drive a 1998 Chevy Tahoe, but that's staying stock. The real reason I'm here is because I'm swapping a 2003 Chevy 5.3l out of an Avalanche into my 1991 Nissan 240sx. I have a GTO oil pan to throw on, then the engine is gonna be getting a T56 tranny, and most likely a ls6 intake swap after its all mounted and running in the car the way it is factory.
The swap won't be done until spring time because the car is in storage, but I will definitely post a build thread on here.

Right now the only thing that I feel I need to figure out is the wiring for the swap (I don't really want to pay $4-500 to have a company do it but I might), and the fuel supply. I'm thinking of running a Walbro 255lph fuel pump with an aftermarket pressure regulator, but again, I'm not quite sure.

But, yeah. If anyone has any advice or comments that'd be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

(P.S. I copied some of my responses to questions from my "noob" introduction thread, so that's why the next few might not make sense)

(2-11-08) Update! Picked up the engine from Bow Auto parts in NH today. I feel I got a great deal, every accessory, computer, mounts, everything except the tranny for $850.

Anyway, here's some pics. Now I've got to save and find a T56...

Yeah, ARP rod bolts are worth the money. Take it back apart and replace those. When you put it back together, double check the oil sump to bottom of pan clearance. Make sure you put about a 1/2" ball of clay on the sump and set the pan firmly down and measure your clay, should be at least 1/4".

I did a quick little search, but I didn't find what I was looking for.
This engine came with a drive by wire system, but I think I need to use a standard cable style throttle body. How should I go about doing that? Just have that removed in my pcm tune and cut the wires from the harness, or something different?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

(2-12-08) Well, I got some pretty good work done today. I started by assembling the old engine stand we had dismantled in the parts room. Then I proceeded to pull the automatic flywheel off and remove the wiring harness. I was amazed at how easily all the plastic clips came off and I only had one break. Once the engine was on the stand I removed the stock headers, seeing as they'll be tossed; man they are heavy for being as small as they are. Once all that stuff was off and out of the way, I pulled all the accessories (water pump, alternator, starter, ac) from the block.
That was about it for today, But tomorrow I should be able to get the GTO oil pan and all that on.

After some research I've decided to do away with the "drive by wire" business. It's easy enough, just buy an aftermarket 80-90mm Camaro/Firebird throttle body, extend my cable if needed, have the "drive by wire" stuff removed from the PCM when I do the PCM, then remove the "drive by wire" section from the harness.

Anyway, here's some pics of todays work.

I was talking it over with my father and I think I'm gonna keep the drive by wire setup. I think it would be easier than changing my whole harness. I also think I'm gonna have to run the ls1/ls6 intake for clearance issues.
