Just checking in.
I have a 98 GMC Suburban K1500 which is a dog when loaded. I have been looking for upgrades to my 5.7, but realized it was a waste of money due to the fuel injectors. So after a little searching i found some info on LSX OBS Swaps, and i am hooked. Right now i only have 100K on my Sub, so i will let the old 5.7L pull her till about 200K then its time for the swap. I am looking at replacing the 5.7L with the 6.0L then swapping the 4L60E for the 4L80E as well as replacing the rear end with a 14 bolt, and doing an S.A.S for the front. Needless to say my Sub should be pretty hot after the swap is complete. Awesome site!! Love doing the research.

Word...how many miles per year do you currently drive? And what does "loaded" include? Trailer? GVWR?

I have only had it for a year, and i have put 13K on its so far. Thats with a few trips to Cali and back. Loaded is with my 3 kids wife and all the bags that come with having a family. Took the whole crew inclucing Sis-in-law to the zoo the other day and i could really feel how hard the Sub had to work to get up to speed.
