    sup guys....

well, new here, and I dont currently own a chevy truck, but I am planning on dropping an LS-1 into my Jeep CJ-7 Laredo, I just finished a full frame off restoration on this Jeep doing all of the work myself, well except with the help of a few of my friends for the stuff I could not get accomplished by myself. The engine that's currently in the jeep is the stock 4.2l inline 6. but the head needs to be reworked.... well with me wanting more power and a chevy engine is cheaper and more dependable I decided to do the conversion.

hopefully you guy's will give me some help through my conversion...

Well the conversion is very popular in the Jeep community. I figure an LS1 will get me around 25 mpg as opposed to about 13 with the stock engine.

I just hope I can source a complete low milage engine soon that has the PCM/wireharness and all the accessories.

Yeah, 25 posts doesn't take any time at all! I joined 4 days ago and I have over 2,000! Haha... But for reals, you have to get a few posts so that all of us here on LS1truck know that you are a legitimate member... It's all technical BS, but it keeps our reputation at the top!
