    6.0/4L80E swap into 93 Yukon 2dr 4x4 PICS

Here are some pictures of my recently completed swap:

I haven't posted much here, but I did a lot of searching/reading here that helped with this swap!

Painless wiring harness, Wheatly tuned, motor mount adapter plates from Ebay. Had to change the input gear in my transfer case (NP241) then it bolted right to my trans. All guages work except for oil pressure and tachometer. Cruise control and ABS don't work. I'd like to get the cruise working if possible. I might just ditch the ABS if it's too much work, it didn't work that great in the first place! Maybe some day I'll hook up the AC, for now I just drive fast with the windows down.

Nice truck get some new plug wire stock ones suck. I just bought some taylor 409 race wire from summit and they make a difference, my 5.3L runs so much smoother..

Truck looks good, want to come to Vegas and finish mine up? Thanks for your help with the TCC wire. I tested all the wires and I have it right, but my old trans just isn't working with the 6.0 so I am shopping for one that will. Hell, at least it runs, some reward anyways.

Good luck with finding a new 4l80e, have you been checking Ebay? How do your Hedman headers fit and do you have any pics?

I didn't want to notch my frame, so I'm saving up for a compressor relocation kit! It's ok, doesn't get that hot here anyway!

Looks good. One question though, your steam port from the heads, is it tied into your line going to the water bottle?

Redheartbeat: that is the line from my throttle body bybass. It has been working, is that not a good idea?

i guess it's okay if you don't need water in your engine. Eventually all the water will be in your overflow tank instead of in the engine, if you're actually getting water flow out the steam ports as you're supposed to.
