    I need this gone guys....ASAP!!..I get my dads GMC in 3 weeks surprisingly...

    Your Tranny around 50k or a little more or less + 100$ for Mine

    NEED GONE HELP A BROTHER OUT!! I dont want to take it to the dealer and waste all these good parts..

    If you're taking it to a dealer to trade it in then why do you care how many miles are on it?

    Might as well...Lol..the engine is an 04....trucks an 03....Actual mileage is 60k something.....New odo shows 37k lol......

    Just to even the trade....

    Also my dad might give the truck to my sister until she graduates in may as well and dont want anything to happen to it and have my dad fix it

    dude i would do it an in instant if i could drive down to college station....its just a lil to far. plus i dont know how my dad would feel bout it.

    i also need to know if it will work on a 4.3L for time being because i will get a 5.3L soon but i didnt know if i could get the tranny for a lil while then get the engine.

    MY truck is a 4.3 lol hell yea it will work.....And yes it will bolt right up to the 5.3..

    You could possibly call places down here to do the swap during a day or 2 if your interested?

    ya see thats where i wouldnt be able to do it. i cant jsut go down and get it traded out because im only in high school so my dad wouldnt go for that at all. if u didnt have to have it traded than i could do it. but its jsut to hard to gett off work for a whole day go down and trade it out with ya. dang. this sucks.

    yes it will bolt to a 5.3 but don't do it. Its only truly good for a straight across 4.3L exchange. Since you're going 4.3 to 4.3 thats fine but a 5.3L tranny won't bolt to the 4.3L setup.

    so your saying that i would have to get a new tranny when i get a 5.3?

    No, you can use the 4.3 trans with the 5.3, just can't put a 5.3 300mm input transmission into a 4.3L engine setup.
