    6 speed to auto

Might be getting a 98 Camaro with a 6 speed for pretty cheap.
I want the engine for my 90 SWB BUT, I don't feel like rowing a boat all the time. How much of a PITA would it be to convert the wire harness to work with a 4l60e?
Would I need a new PCM?

You'll need a tune for the PCM to control the auto. you can splice in an auto harness section but you'll really need a custom harness for the install. Get NelsonPerformance to build you one. 5 wires and you're done with the install.

If the car is what the guy says it is and I can get ahold of it then the 6 speed will need a new home.
Question #2 Are the electrical connectors (not the pin locations I can redo that) all the same for the 4l60e or did they change at sometime?
