I have an ATI Procharger P-1SC with Griffin 3-core intercooler and custom intake piping with the biggest AEM dry filter they make for sale.
I just took it off my truck last week after blowing the motor (S/C was not affected). I have 4 different pulleys, and 2 of them are Reichard Racing ultra groove pulleys (3.2", 3.6" ) and one stock Procharger 4.0" and 3.4".
With the 3.6" RR pulley I made between 8 & 10 psi with a Ligenfelter GT2-3 cam (on a 6.0l, it would be more on a 5.3l), depending on the outside temp. With the gigantic Griffin intercooler, IAT's were always about ambient when cruising and only got about 20-30* above ambient on WOT 1/4 mile runs.
I ditched the FMU (they are junk), so you would need upgraded injectors & tune to compensate (maybe fuel pump or boost pump depending on how far you push it). I ran 60 lbers with a Walbro 255 in-tank pump.
The system was for a 1999 5.3L, but I ran it for almost two years on my 2004 6.0L LQ9.
The charge piping isn't pretty, as the powder coating is coming off. It doesn't affect the performance (I have ran this way almost 2 years), just doesn't look good. Also I think the seals need to be replaced on the Procharger (about $300 for Procharger to do it, current 2 week turnaround time). NOTE: It doesn't leak oil, it seeps onto the unit. It doesn't drip, just makes a film. It uses about 1/3 of a bottle of oil between the 6,000 oil change intervals (which I think equates to like 2 or 3 ounces). IT DOES REQUIRE THE PROCHARGER OIL. The Griffin 3 core intercooler had a dent in it from hitting something on the highway, but it doesn't leak or affect cooling in any way.
Pics are attached, but the intake piping isn't shown because I forgot to take a picture of it.
Because I consider this a "tuner" kit (needing injectors & custom tune), and the seals need to be addressed, I am offering this for $1,100. Buyer pays all shipping, and if paying through Paypal, add 3%.
I think I have a great reputation here, so you shouldn't have any worries.
