    Thumbs up

to start out ive got a 2001 gmc sierra ext cab with the 4.8 automatic. im making a turbo kit for it, but one problem i keep running into is that the egr will interfere with the placement of the turbo, ive found a egr removal kit on ebay and a coupple of other places and all of them include the block off plate/plug, but none of them include a electrical sim plug(similar to a 02 simulator)... i work as a mechanic for dobbs so im mechanicaly inclined but im not quite sure on electrical systems, i do know for a fact that if i unplug the egr the C.E.L. will turn on. if i were to get a diablo preditor tuner for the truck could i just get it for a non egr truck so it just wont look for it or what? im kind of at a loss...i could keep it on but once the maniflod gets hot im pretty sure it will get fried!! does anyone know how the nelson kit does it?
    thanks

You turn it off in the PCM programming. Buy HPTuner software of have Allen at NelsonPerformance program it out when he does a tune for the new turbo. You're going to need programming no matter what with the turbo kit.
