Hey guys, we're doing a swap here. We started last week or so and just wanted to share.
This truck belongs to a member on the site.
This truck is getting an almost new (7miles) 6L, StageII heads, blower cam, custom turbo kit or big bore KB charger.
Later it will be lifted with 40's.

Here are some pics so far. Not much to look at, but it might help some of you.

    engine install

The engine is mocked up, so is the 80E trans. We're installing a custom harness for him and you can see the wiring is almost done.
Later next week, the S&P a/c setup will arrive and we'll relocate the a/c.

We're still debating between the big bore KB or turbocharger.

I see you got a 2 post lift, nice. Do you prefer one lift over the other (besides for your dyno) for doing work?

I really love those custom harnesses that yall have. So simple, clean, and hidden. Wish I could get one for the 5.3

Thanks guys, it should be drivable in a couple weeks.
As for the harness, thanks! It will be almost invisible when we're done.

foggy, ya, it's helped out a lot, but I prefer the four post, then get you the optional center lift, that way you can lift the wheels if needed.
I'd like to have 2 four posts and one 2post, just no room, haha.

    later,
    allen
