I ordered a thermostat on 1/31/2007 and received an email shortly after informing me that it was "back ordered." I sent the company and email expressing my concern as to how thermostats get back ordered. I guess the demand is crazy high right now. Seems to me that it was just out of stock and someone doesn't know how to order parts. That is something that bothers me b/c I work in retail and understand how it works. It gets better. The part finally shipped on 2/9/2007. I called Thunder Racing on Monday, February 19, 2007 and spoke with David regarding my issue. David told me he would call me back later that day and give me an update. Here it is Thursday, 2/22/2007, and I decided to call back. Apparently the thermostat is "lost" within UPS somewhere - no big deal, as shipping errors occur. I asked David if he would ship me another thermostat (using a different carrier) and he said no. I asked him if he really wanted to lose a customer for $20 and he laughed and said YES. Anyone else had a problem with these guys???
Just my two cents. I'd like my money back - or a thermostat!
What do you think?? Am I out of line to be a little upset?? a month for a tiny part?
