    yea its funny because were doing almost the same swap. thats a nice tb you have too. where did you pick that up? you have a little more progress than i do. you got the engine already dropped in. Im still waiting to order my stall and fuel fittings before i do that. also waiti9ng on my mount adapters. any idea on what stall?

    The throttle body I got from a guy on eBay. He did a great job polishing and porting it. I'll get you his name when I get home if you want. And no I have no idea on the stall sorry

    Ok yea. How much did it run? It came with that fancy 5.3 decal as well?

    Yeah it did. There was a core return and stuff but in the end I think it was only like 60-70 when you got the core money back!

    Oh on yea I think I seen that guy. So he gave you a dbc throttle body and took your dbw as a core?

    Oh ok. That's good. I'm omw home now to finish scrubbing this frame. Hopefully ill be able to.get it primered today as well.

    Good luck! Got my headers. They seem like great quality. Only thing is they have a sticker that says not high temp paint on them. Doesn't make a bit of sense to me but now I guess I have to repair them which is lame.

    What exactly was the issue with it not mating? And when you say "avalanche transmission" are you saying a 4L60e or 4L80e or ?? Just curious. I mean, if you have the money, you can pretty much mount anything to anything ... all it takes is some welding and machining. Some mating just take a lot more "welding and machining"
