I'll try to get you some pics soon. All of the hoses are installed and I just need to pull a vacuum and charge the system. Having problems shifting at WOT from 3rd to 4th so I need to make some adjustments in HPT. I'll get it worked out.

ohh hold up!!! You dont wanna do that man! 3-4 at WOT will be very violent and will kill that tranny quick, no matter what tranny you have in there. Is there a reason you wanna shift there, you should have all you need through 3rd.

chrisj6 and jethro 3, I replied back to you in the PCM section. I was just playing around with the tune and I more less explained myself wrong. The tranny just didn't want to shift at all for some reason at 6000 RPM. It does now though! No more tranny issues!!

86LS1Silverado, That block I ordered doesn't work right with the truck compressor. I didn't even look but the gasket surface is 3/32 deeper on the HP side. I'm gonna have to do some more machining to make it work right. What lines are you gonna use?

Nitrous, my block didnt work either. I had the same problem you are having plus the male threads hit my manifold. Just wasnt going to work. I ended up using a 04 compressor off a 4.8. The lines come out of the top instead of the back. Between that and the cutting/boxing I did lines shouldnt be a problem. I hope the lines off the 4.8 will work with some minor mods. Ill get some pics up soon.

I took the block I ordered and machined it to fit the NBS truck compressor. Took a little time but it looks like it 's gonna work. I'm gonna install it tomorrow. Wish me luck!

How's that truck doing, Lance? Has it become a daily driver yet?

Not yet Greg, It can be but I wanted A/C with all the humidity down here. I hate having to wipe the windows every 5 minutes LOL. It's already proved itself now that I tuned it, I just have to figure out why the LT's on bank1 and 2 are reading max when driving. At idle they stay -0.8 and 2.3. When driving they max out to 25. The funny thing is I logged it at 25 and it only read -0.8 and 2.3 I don't know if HPT is acting up or what. It's rained all weekend so hopefully tonight I can install the A/C block, pull a vacuum and add refrigerant. I can't wait to see the look on some faces at the track!

That thing is going to open some eyes for sure. You'll be investing in a set of slicks next.
