Yeah, I've never done that in a NBS but I have done two OBS conversions. If they quote you a price for the engine, take anything and everything you can for the money. Take the whole car if you can.Like I say, if they'll give it to you in the price of the engine, take it and sell off what you don't need. Do as much research as you can and post every where for information. It's not that difficult to do the swap, it's much easier when you get all the parts that match together. Be sure the wiring harness you get is for the transmission type you want to run. You can rewire the automatic transmission section if you have to do that. If they'll throw in the wiring from another harness with all the pins from the PCM intact it's not too difficult. I've done that before and it's nothing more than plugging in about 15 wires and supplying 12v to the solenoids. If your truck is an automatic you should be able to use the transmission for a little while. You will most likely require a crankshaft spacer and bolts to guide the torque convertor when using the V6 transmission. As for fuel, I am not sure if you'll need a new pump or not. I know my V6 in my Astro van has the high pressure high volume pump so I'm sure your pump should work.
