sent over here from the FSC forum. 6.0 carb swap

Hi all. new on here and wanting to swing a 6.0 into my new to me 91 RCSB. Is anyone converting 6.0 to carb set ups? I know the parts are out there to do it just dont know much about the conversion. I know i'll lose efficiency but I think I'll gain torque and horsepower. @least that what im reading in mags. If thats been discussed already on here, point me in the right direction and i can do the home work. thanks

im in the middle of a conversion myself. look into the victor jr or super victor intakes for a carb setup. carb is up to you. for ignition controls look at the MSD 6010 or 6012 depending on your reluctor.

hey i completed the swap as well but in a 4x4. i used the performer intake. i decided dual plane was better then single plane for my application and as mentioned go with the msd 6010 if you are using an engine with 24x reluctor wheel and the msd 6012 if it is a 58x reluctor. this box gives you more tuning capabilities. the most inportant thing you will have to figure out is what transmission you want to run. as for the carb set up other then the intake, msd box, carb and fuel pressure regulator all your conversion stuff would be the same if you went EFI
