I am in the midst of the conversion to lm7 (5.3), so i still have some other decisions to be made.
I managed to get a good harness with this motor that is uncut, however still i am contemplating doing a painless harness that just goes right in if they have one.. If thats the case, im sure going with a 700r4 would mean i could stay away from wiring on the transmission side of things, and just get a m6 ecu and harness setup for a mechanical transmission. I have been told by a few to look into 4l60's, however im unsure the extent of wiring i will be getting myself into with that kind of decision.
Also another item that comes into play is the driveshaft and mounts. With the different choices, is there any particular direction i can go where there is already a swap driveshaft/ mounts made? I purchased the sliding dingo mounts already per someones suggestion, which was a great help.
Ive researched on here and am still doing so, i just figured i would take a stab at asking in the occasion of saving some time. Im trying to get this thing on the road before too long, so any assistance helps.
I need to get into figuring how to supply fuel now, so back to the drawing board.
Thanks for any response!
