    what gasket to use?

    i just got my pacesetters and i need to know what gasket to use. i've heard some say stock GM gaskets is best but i don't know?
    2009 CHEVROLET 1500 with a MONSTER 4.8 between the frame rails!!

    I bought some copper gaskets... its the only way to go
    2004 4.8l 6 speed manual 2wd
    Looks: 22" foose rims with Fierce tires, SS front bumper, SS Front Grill, 2/3 lowering kit.
    Performance: Volant Intake, 3" exaust with Spintech muffler, Pacesetter LT's with Y pipe, TR cam 220/220 .551 112 lsa, T56 Tranny with the Keisler short Shift kit and LS7 Clutch, Quicktime Scatter Shield, ASP Underdrive pulley kit, Dyno tune by Rick at Synergy Motorsports

    copper or stock is fine. just throw away the paper ones. victor reintz(spl?) also makes a stock style metal gasket

    well so far there is only one dealer around me that has them and orielly's and autozone have so special order them.

    i reused my old ones..not a single leak

    What about re-using the head bolts?

    I heard you can't re-use the head bolts, but I would like to hear from someone who had swapped the gaskets.

    I am thinking BS
    2006 1500 CC/SB with the 5.3L and Nelson PCM.
    soon to come is a intake and exhaust. (wifes truck)

    Other vehicle is a 03 2500HD CC/SB 6.6L DMAX straight piped and Edge stacked with Superchips and gauges, Loves to eat rice for sure! Fartcan exhaust makes it better!
