    im puting a 4.8 and 4l60e in my 55 fairlane and i wanted to do a little to it nothin to extream an i was wondering about cam choices some thing mild

    Go with something with around 220ish duration with around 550 lift on 112 lsa. Dont forget ya gotta upgrade your springs and may as well get hardened pushrods.

    .If I were you and your gonna get nelson to rework your harness get him to recommend you a cam. He&#39;s a dealer for comp.Check the classifieds for a used cam,roller cams dont wear out like traditional cams, and people upgrade to larger cams all the time. You should be able to purchase a used one for 200 bones. You should also be looking for a stall convertor with maybe a 2000-2600 stall speed.A trailblazer convertor is a very good upgrade over the factory verter.I may get in trouble for this but also try ls1-tech look under conversions and hybrids tons of info there also. Look in there classifieds for a used cam.That is if you cant find one here.
