Thank you. I read dirty dingos are the best. I'll look for the a/c bracket.
And isn't the Speedo a cable Speedo or is it electric on the 89? Cause I have a 2002 4l60e and so the speed sensor is electric.
Those headers are expensive aren't they? The guy im doing this for is on a tight budget.

89 is electric but it has the drac built into the gauge." moonies" There are ways to get around it, but they where all to difficult. The easyest way is to switch to the needle gauges from like a early 90s body style, or just go with a aftermarket set like I did

So being an electric Speedo and hooking it up to the 4l60e speed sensor it won't work? on my 81 swap I swapped the gauges to like a 90 burban I think and it works fine. I guess I dont understand how the 89 gauge being a Moonie is difficult. I'm doing this for a friend on his truck. My truck is great.

I tryed on mine and it didn't work, the moonie gauges have the drac ( or a built in vss buffer ) in the gauge it's self, ppl have said its possible with another drac box properly calibrated to accept the new vss signal to work with the gauge but after reading it was over my head. So I just bit the bullet and got a set of aftermarket gauges that look better and only set me back $500
