Hello? .... Anyone ever worked with this stuff before. We need to figure these out. Much cheaper than the factory ones and we can add our personal touck with paint, vinyl or both. Ive got a plotter we use for tint graphics so if I can make the clear covers I can add just about anything to them. LS1 emblems, Corvette crossflags, Nelson Performance, LS1truck.com...Anything. The vinyl/paint would be on the bottom side so it would look cool and last. I just need to figure out how to make the clear covers. Thanks, Ryan

I believe you can bend acrylic with a heat gun. Go to home depot and buy a test piece and give it a try.

I think you would need more than just a heat gun. I think you would need some sort of template to form them to, like a factory set of covers. I got mine from ebay for $50. That's not a lot of money when you think about how much $$$ you could make selling these covers.

You're going to need something more than a blow drier.![]()
They vacuum form acrylic sheets to make all kinds of items. I'm just not sure what they use to heat the sheet so that it doesn't shatter.
