My truck is lowered a lot more now it doesn't sit like that no more. It has a 5 -7 drop now and yes I ended up breaking my front diff with it like that

I looked up alot of stuff about lowering awd, i was talking with a guy on pt. He makes the same amout of HP as i do and his truck is slammed with all stock parts still, he is in a rcsb and said he has never broke anything. My truck tranfers bad now but pretty sure lowering it and putting cal tracs back on is gonna fix that.

Not really talkin much bout the drop... The tbss guys stress keepin awd's as level.as you can in front and back or stock ride height... I was just wondering if silvy guys had same problems... Im dropped 2/4 in the saab sits pretty level... I do need a new panhard bar tho cause I got killer sway at high speeds on corners... New drop shocks too..

i never had a problem out the the ss when it was dropped 2/4 with spindles. I had the dmax dropped all the way down on the front just by taking the torsion key bolts all the way out. Truck rode great like that and launched good. They key is to keep the CV axles level or where they angle up towards the wheels. If you have them angled the other way (if it was lifted) you will have problems and when you lower the back just make sure your pinion angle stays good. There is a guy that ran 2wd drop spindles on his 4x4 duramax and he had to run a spacer for the CV axle and Diff because the were a little to short and would pull apart. Ive never heard of this happening on a 1/2 ton tho
