Your Tahoe doesn't have any blocks to remove. They didn't start that until the NBS trucks.

i read some where an easy way to get 2 inches lower in the back is to remove the blocks under the leaf springs. if i do that can the springs just rest on the rear diff or do i need some kind of adapter or something?

before i get any gripe about lowering a 4x4..i live in Los Angeles Ca so 4x4 is pretty much useless and i never use it. i plan on removing the front differential for now until i can get a new trans and drop the transfer case.
Why dont you do an AWD swap ?

You need to cut those bump stops down. Thats not much room to travel without bottoming out.

Its not because of the load that I say it....I have the blocks removed on my truck and before I cut the bump stops it would hit with and decent bump.
