I'm no expert on converters, lol, Yank and CD would be, but I've tuned and driven a ton of trucks, so I get the opportunity to feel and see what mods do and don't do.
A big stall will definitely increase performance considerably.
I run two BM coolers, the big ones with 1/2 pipe fittings and my PG (with no lockup) runs 120degs most of the time and 130degs in the city.
I know there are other good coolers out there, but the BM design cools great!

ok so how will a 3200 stall work in the street, say wot.. can you tell you have that connverter then, does the truck even roll with the foot off the brakes? i wish i knew someone with a big stall converter to drive there car and see how it feels and act, this is my 4th tranny lol. 20k on her so far, once she hits 40k im ripping her out and redoing it.

Well I just got off the phone with yank and the guy says it too big. Especially with the spray. He said it will get out of the hole hard but then fall on it's face after the 1/8th. He suggested a ss3600. He said I should pick up a whole second with it. So looks like I'll be saving a little longer and go with the ss3600 or a circle d 3600. I'm gonna give chris a call and see what he says

Chris suggested I go with his 4000 triple disk. That bad boy is $1000 lol. Idk if it's worth going with that one rather than his 3600 one for $375
