    Rear axle: Is there a Difference b/n 2000 and 2007 nnbs? 8.5/8.625?

I have a locker (or maybe the gears are just welded from the previous owner) in my 2000 gmc sierra 4x4 ecsb. I am wondering if I can put the locker in my NNBS 2007 ccsb 1500? I know there is a 8.5 and an 8.625 but I'm not sure whaat year the change happened.

Also how much can these 10 bolts handle? I haven't heard of too many people blowing them up with the truetrac installed.
Would a 14 bolt be an easy swap? I'm guessing all that would be involved would be spring perches relocated, driveshaft shortening (14 bolt has longer snout on diff. right?), and of course 8 lug rims.

    Thanks guys
    2007 GMT900 CCSB 5.3 VTS2300 Twin Screw Supercharger, Doug Thorley LT's, True 3" Duals into Dynomax Race Bullets, Nelson Tune, 4L80e w/transgo HD2-D, Truetrac, 4.10 r&p
Need list: Stall, PLX 200 for my crappy AFR, X-pipe, GM 20's.

Haha lmao. I thought the RC in the IIRC stood for Regular Cab so I was wondering what the II stood for lol.
So will that rear end bolt right up to a NNBS?
