    It will bolt up just fine the bellhousing is the same, also I think I have the motor mounts you need kust took tjem off an ls1

    sweet! thanks for the reply guys

    one more question, I'm guessing I won't be able to use the brackets I have on the LS1 that were on it in a 2000 Camaro.. correct? Could I use my alternator, power steering pump and ac compressor that is on my LS1?

    looking at a 5.3 bracket set up, looks like the only bracket I would need is the alternator/power steering bracket. Ac compressor looks like it is in the same location as it is on my Camaro based LS1
