    Need help with valve seals

I spoke with Steven at patriot peformance and from our conversation, I came to conclude that my valve seals are not fully seated. This was my bust, but my question is......when installing the valve seals with the patriot dual gold springs, exactly how do you guys get the seal fully seated?? I have heard of people using a deep socket and a hammer but I'm not sure if that would work since I use compressed air to hold the valves up - the valve stem is probably taller than a deep socket

As in, using compressed air to hold the valves up and using a deep socket to hammer down the seal? Isn't the valve stem taller than a deep socket?

Not the part of the stem sticking out of the top of the head.

Sorry to keep clarifying guys, but do you mean to say that a deep socket will, in fact, be tall enough? And will the seal "click" or make any distinct sound or feeling when it seats?

yes it is tall enough and no, there isn't a click, it just bottoms out when it's all the way on.

Don't the seals have bases on them, which the springs sit on top of? Spring pressure should be enough to push them all the way down. I guess the sound would change to a very solid sounding one once it's all the way down to the seat base.
GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT RICER MATH!
