    y punch it out and do all that i got an 05 ex cab 4x4 5.3 with 3.42 gears with just a texas speed cam kit which is hardend push rodes, cam 220/220/113 4deg advance timeing ground in 581 lift, headers, 3200 stall, shift kit, cai, and servos, with tune and im putn down 375 hp and 351 tq. if put heads on it i would be over the 400 hp mark

    Has anyone even hit the 400rwhp mark with a 5.3 NA. I haven't seen any. I'm curious though

    hmmm im curious too. id love a 400hp 5.3 to save me from buying a 6.0 for the Camaro

    Dang im supercharged and still not putting down 400 rwhp YET!!

    why not save yourself the trouble and just buy an L92 with the higherflowing heads, bigger valves and upgrade the rod bolts, then you can mill the heads .020'' and put your cam in there, you'll make 400hp no problem, and it'll be the same weight as the 5.3l

    I have seen 395 at the wheels on a Z-71 with a 5.3 with Patroit heads and all the other bolt ons...
