    building the 4.8 this summer

Finally getting some money I can spend on the truck, starting with a shift kit, servos and bigger cooler. Planning on the new FAST truck intake, TB, ud pulleys, headers and nelson tune. Thinking about a tr220 on a 112 for the cam. Would I be better off with single or double springs and 7.4 pushrods? whats my best bet for a converter?
03 4.8, k&n cai, gutted cats and one loud cherry bomb extreme, nelson tuned. RIP

Depends on how radical u want your cam to be. For instance I have a very large cam for a 4.8 (224/228 581/588 on a 112) so I stalled it to match (3600) and for a 4.8 it runs pretty good.

    with a 4.8. i would do 4K no less. rock a 228/230 cam, run 456 gears

this will deffently rock with a 4.8

double springs for sure. plan to spin motor 7200 rpms and youll be a rocket
    2002 Lightning - GT headed 5.5Litre w/ Twin 7665s
    2002 Silverado - 427Lsx w/ Twin gt4202s
    2010 Silverado crewcab Z71 - 5.3litre w/ procharger
    2000 Wrangler - 5.3litre with some stance
    2014 Xsport- 3.5 Eco boost
    412 Motorsports

it ain't that I'm too big to listen to the rumors, It's just that I'm too damn big to pay attention to 'em..That's the difference

yeah thats what I have been told, but I think ill try this combo. Besides the double springs is there anything else I should do to the valvetrain?
