    Book?

It's good to have the likely original application for the trans.

unfortunately, except for "input/output" seals, most of the others come in a big pack...which are like 200 bucks.
blown transmissions are about as useful as 97% of the guys on this forum

GM part number 10117848 retails for $53.92

There is no rear bushing on a T56. It has a mainshaft bearing in the back but that would not contribute to a leak. Also make sure and check the yoke isn't leaking out the back through the center (driveshaft side). You can seal it with epoxy after a good cleaning if so.

hmm well if its not the yoke then where the heck do i turn. what else would be making it leak if its not the the rear seal or the yoke?

I'd say rear seal and not likely but possible the yoke.

I didn't say neither was leaking, I said there is no bushing (like an automatic).

I'd get an aftermarket seal for the price difference. There is no quality difference on seal IMO.

ahh okay i gotcha, i was worried it was something worse haha,

and i know nothing about auto's so thank you for clarifying that.

ill have to see if i can get an aftermarket one, but ive yet to find one with a picture that shows it comes with the rubber boot as well. i like gm replacement parts, ive had to many horror story aftermarket junks. haha. ill pay the $50 as long as it seals up good and i dont have a leaking trans anymore. ill have to see if the local dealership has one.

    thanks guys
