Maybe we got a bad batch, but we scrubbed the inside of his car with alcohol before we put the mat on. After most of it fell off he replaced it with less layers of fatmat and there have been no problems since and better vibration damping. Also, I could easily rip the eDead apart because its was thin and didn't have a foil backing. I bet it has improved, but from my personal experience with the stuff I wasn't impressed.

I know a lot of people who use FatMat, but eDead isn't as bad as you make it out to be. You really must have just gotten a bad batch.

if the e-dead is anything like the original dynamat then heating it up with a heat gun before you apply it is the best way to get it to stay.

i used two layers because of some low spots on the floor and the back wall. i also used two layers on the roof because one did not deaden it enough, IMO.

The eDead came as 4 rolls, the 2 rolls that we stuck on the front of the car stuck good, the rear is where the problems started. I used 50 mil fatmat.

This guy's right for sure. Heat it up with a heat gun. I used 2 layers wherever needed it. It was pretty much trial and error.
